10 October 2007:
I've been listening to Katie Melua's new cd '/Pictures' recently. Some of you will know that I'm a fan particularly of her 'Piece by Piece album' and the 'Spider's Web' track in particular...

Katie Melua/Pictures album

The '/Pictures' album is still 'growing on me' so I can't yet say how I rate it next to her other albums other that it contains some catchy lyrics and intesting melodies, it may live up to my expectations after the last album, I'll have to listen to it some more...

21 July 2007:
Presuming my Grandfather, and I shared many of the same traits (he died when I was very young), I believe that he and I would both have shared many positive conversations about the ideals being striven for by people employed by the BBC today.
I feel that Trust, Honesty, Impartiality are essential.
It feels to me, that, to strive for high levels of these principles is intuitively correct. I appreciate that it can be a difficult and uncomfortable period of assessment particularly for those who have let their own standards drop. But personally speaking, I feel that if the key principles that make an institution great are lost, then credibility would inevitably be lost through ethical demise. This would more than likely be consciously or subconsciously transmitted in information issued.
I feel this subject is a serious issue particularly for an influential organisation that has a Royal Charta. One of the real problems as I would see it is how to differentiate for a wide audience and make sure that the key principles are achieved in sufficient detail.

C_Brontë: 'A fig for Rizzlas! cried he, tossing his head with all its wavy strands, as he moved to take the mic. 'I think the meddler daVideo must have been some sort of silly 'card'; I like grey haired chap Rothwell worse: to my mind a woman is nothing without the devil of spice in her; and icemunkey may say what it will... "Thekstons old, & peculiar". I had this gr8? ,thought she could have been just like that chick with, fierce integrity, a real free spirit kinda women with intellect, great guitar licks and good net communicator skills, fab musical tastes to boot... 18 May 2007:
Hey! I've finally found some time to start updating my personal web site properly... It should start to give you a bit more of an insight into my lifestyle, job, and passions...

20 November 2006:
Finally, after over 5 years decided that I ought to update the mainpage of this site. There were all sorts of dodgy and broken links!
If you're just getting into web development, then have a look at a few technical sites and the press, and you choose whatever makes you excited. It's all about having fun and not getting bored, and don't forget that..really cool stuff!

In my sister's shop:
Its.foryou
you can find bags of rare rock stuff like 'backstage passess', guitar plectrums used by famous bands, 'picture discs' and limited edition posters. She's got proper 'cred' so 'Get hip and Check Out'!

Judge cred!
In 2006 she managed all the 'Meet and Greet' VIP fan club events for all the gigs in this country and some in Europe for the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan tours and in Europe for a couple of David Gilmour (Pink Floyd gutarist) gigs. 2007 saw her manage the 'Meet and Greet' VIP fan club event for the Rolling Stones London gig at the O2 arena:
